Daniela Montufar '20 Recruiting Profile

Dear College Coaches,

My name is Daniela Montufar and I will graduate from Chandler High School (Chandler, AZ) in 2020. I currently take honors and AP courses and maintain a 4.1 unweighted GPA. I am in multiple school clubs that help around the community. I hope to achieve my collegiate goals at a Division 1 or 2 university to further my education and to acomplish my dream of becoming a collegiate runner. I am very competitive ,determined, and I will continue to strive to better myself.

My events range from the 800 to the 4x400. My best 800 was ran at Last Chance with a 2:26. My best 5k was my sophmore year at Nike Desert Twilight and ran with a 20:07. Biggest accomplishments in cross country was winning the Nike Desert Twilight Invite and the Arizona State Cross Country Championship. My goal for both seasons is to drop my times by at least 5 seconds. My athletic dream is to become a collegiate runner who chases for her degree. Thank you for your time, I hope to stay in constant contact and eagerly learn what the University has to offer.

 I am serving the United States Army. I chose to reserves so I can go to college still and I am open to continuing my athletic career.
