I have been an athlete my whole life. I did my first triathlon when I was 6 and have been doing them ever since. Over 10 years, I have consistently been competitive with the best in triathlons, while at times taking "seasons" to focus on other sports. I have podiumed at cycling nationals, qualified for the state meet in swimming in the 500 and 200 Free (after taking 3 years off of swimming), raced for one the top Nordic Cross Country ski teams in the country (Ski Club of Vail) placing in the top 20 of the Rocky Mountain Region, qualified for the state Nordic High School Championships (in the same season as HS swimming), and run cross country and track for one of the top high school running programs in the country (Battle Mountain High School). Most of my swim and run times are from were at over 6000ft. I think multi-sports have kept allowed me to keep my training miles on the low end, kept me always excited to race and train and injury free! I have been very fortunate to move around many times in my life and have experienced many different schools, coaches and programs. I believe this has prepared me well to thrive in my post high school academic and sport career.
In my "spare time" I volunteer at the Eagle County animal Shelter and the Vail Health Center. I also love books, music on vinyl and movies. In college I am hoping to get a great degree and while competing in sport.
