As I complete high school in 2023, I plan to study biology/pre-med at a 4-year university. I am most interested in scholarships at colleges with high academic programs. And, I am focused on Division 1 & 2 schools.
Currently, I am ranked first in my class, with a cumulative GPA of a 4.3. I was honored with the title of Freshman Homecoming attendant and sophomore class officer. I am on the Scholastic Bowl Team, Academic Challenge Team, and I am on Student Council. I am the Secretary for the ROWVA High School FFA Chapter. I am involved in 4-H, where I show cattle and am President of my club, and I am the Reporter for the Knox County 4-H Federation Board. Some of my community service activities include the following events: volunteering at the Galesburg Fish Food and Oneida Food pantries and for the local United Way.
During this year of high school, I am involved in the following sports: cross country, basketball, volleyball, and track & field. During the Fall, I participated in my first cross country season as a sophomore. I placed within the top 10 at the Lincoln Trail Conference, 3rd at ICAC, and I moved onto IHSA 1A Sectionals. I was awarded on the Quad Cities All-Western Illinois Girls' First Team, and I was named WQAD MTI Star Student Athlete of the month for October and LTC Academic All Conference. During the end of cross country, I received the following awards: the Fastest Time, the Newcomer Award, the 2020 Gut Award, and the Most PRs within one season. To say the least, I had an extremely great experience, and I found an appreciation for a new sport.
During the track season (2021), I also accomplished a few things. This included placing 5th at the Lincoln Trail Conference, as well as placing 1st at the ICAC Conference. I ended the season with making LTC Academic All Conference.
