My main goal in college is to study the sciences, possibly biology or biochemistry, while competing in track and field. As a positive and hardworking student athlete that likes to push my limits, I work hard, and am usually the last person to leave practice. I enjoy being able to motivate and support my teammates so they can keep pushing themselves at meets and during practice.
I have always enjoyed competition and the hard work that it takes to improve. I was a nationally ranked dancer for 10 years, before transitioning to track and field. What I love about track is that I always know what the next goal is for each event, and what work I need to do to get there. I started hurdling because it is technically challenging and that was appealing to me. I knew it was going to be something that I had to work hard at to become better. My attitude and drive to overcome any challenge, makes me a valuable addition to your team.
