My family and school community have molded me into the person I am today. My father and his family are rooted in culinary while my mother motivates me to run and engage in athletics. In 8th grade, I became interested in running while competing in track and field at Hudson High School . My teachers and coaches instilled the importance of becoming a quality student athlete and the importance of being a role model. Once I became a 9th grader at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, I found my favorite sport , cross country. During my Freshman and sophomore years at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, Sports and Student Activities were completely eliminated due to covid-19 restrictions. This situation challenged my ability to do what I enjoy most, being part of a team and running in order to pursue my personal achievements through academics and athletics. Through this time, I realized the importance of maintaining a balance of health physically, mentally, and spiritually.
