I strive to complete my goal of being a division 1 college track athlete. I have loved the sport of track since 8th grade when I started competing on the varsity team. I was in gymnastics from when I was 3 to when I was 14 and I believe that helped me become the athlete I am today. Freshman year, I placed first in 100 hurdles at the section 6 class D championship meet and the county meet with over 20 schools competing in each. My goal for my sophomore season is to break my school record in 100 hurdles that I am only a few tenths away from. Track is my passion and I show up to practice everyday with a positive attitude and a willingness to take and fix my corrections from my coaches.
I am also excelling in academics as well. I am a student who enjoys going to school and learning new things everyday. I try to take as many advanced courses as my school offers and keep my average around a 95 or higher.
