Ashalee Mckenzie '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashalee  McKenzie. I am sprinter who is captain of the track and field team on Prospect heights campus who is also a striker on the soccer team . I am a committed student athlete who stands at five feet and three inches.

I have been running for as long as I could remember. From the moment I step on to the track and felt the wind pressing against my body I knew that this is my true calling. I know attending college beyond compared opportunity that will change my life my putting it on the road to compete at the national level which is an unyielding dream and goal of mine.

I am a confident, competitive and disciplined athlete who aspires for nothing but greatness. I am a team leader who makes it their point of duty to encourage and push my fellow team mates to the limits. I am incredibly coachable and a great asset to any and every organization or task I take part in. I strive to be best because “only the best it good enough”. I am a dedicated and hard-working individual and one of the best recruits you’ll find.

I have spent years training and perfecting my skills and techniques. I have competed in numerous on tournaments and event with each time showing high levels of improvement. I have participated in cross countries, high school soccer, track, the gym , which all contributes to my athleticism.

In regards to my education, I study hard to main a high gpa and passing grades. I also volunteer for school programs such as gardening, fun rising , teacher assistance and much more. 

I desire to attend college to further my education and also compete in track and field at the highest level possible. I am open to all options and as a conclusion find the perfect college that will push me to become my better self. I aspire to become a remarkable role model to my peers , family and supporters and ultimately make them proud.
