Freshman Year Personal Statement
Since I was younger sports have been my outlet from things that I struggled with while growing up and helped shape me into the person I am today. I played three sports throughout high school and each season I learned a new perspective and outlook on life, and the game. With each of my three teams I was able to focus on my potential, goals, and tap into specific areas of my life and athletic abilities. I saw that there was no feat I couldnt reach if I put the work in and had the heart to go further with whatever I was doing.
Playing sports in college is a dream every athlete has, and i'm determined to make mine a reality.
