Hi! My name is Bo Miller I’m an upcoming Junior in High School and I want to continue my Track and Field career in college. I started my Track and Field career my Sophomore year of High School. My sport has always been Volleyball, until I got really lost with it my Sophomore year and wanted to distract myself with something else. I’ve never had such a drive and passion for a sport like I do throwing. Throughout my first season I've learned so much about myself, including how to become such a better athlete mentally and physically. My favorite part about my current High School team is that all of my coaches want each and everyone of us to succeed. What made my first season so amazing was because of the support and guidance my coaches gave me. They’re all the reason why I want to continue my Track and Field career. I strive to have an environment like this in college.
In college, Im hoping to get a degree in kinesiology. The human body has always fascinated me my whole life and Im all about helping people. With this degree, I want to become an Athletic Trainer for sports teams or one-on-one with athletes. In the future I want to help in the conditioning of athletes and prevention of injuries. I want to be able to help athletes recover and bounce back to preform to their best abilities and beyond.
Through the rest of my High School career into my College career I want to become a leader and role model to everyone on the team. My coach always tells me I set a very good example for everyone on the team by being supportive of everyone and being a hard worker. I want to continue to set a good example for everyone on my team in college as well.
