Kaitlyn Mancini '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'2" sprinter from Merrick, New York and will graduate in the 2011 class. I run on the Varsity Track and Cross Country Teams. In addition, I played Volleyball on the J.V. team for 2 years and was Team Captain in my Sophomore year. Track is a sport I am passionate about. I love the thrill of competing, the ability to keep improving and the camaraderie of my team mates. I would love the opportunity to continue running competitively while earning a college degree in Elementary Education. I have had the pleasure of working with young people as a volunteer in my CYO Track organization as well as tutoring my peers in Math at Calhoun. These experiences have helped me realize how much I enjoy teaching and mentoring others. I am open to all academic institutions in the North East that will help me achieve my goals. I am a very hard worker and I feel confident that I will make great contributions both on the track and in the classroom.
