My name is Linnea Neureuther and I have always loved running. Not only does running have a special place in my heart, I wouldn't be me without it. Some may think that going for that extra lap or that extra run through is over the top, but there are two reasons I think otherwise. The first is the feeling you get after that hard work has paid off. The feeling as you see the clock when passing through the finish line and it has the numbers you're looking for, regardless of how you place. The second is, on the track is when I feel most at peace. Although a part of me is doing that extra training for the first reason, the other part of me is doing it just because of my love for the sport and how that training makes me feel. In that moment of training, I am the purest version of myself. I am primarily a hurdler, but also love horizontal jumps! Just as I push myself that much harder on the track, that is also seen off the track in character and academics. I strive for as close to perfect as possible, meaning I'll do any extra measure to see those high grades in my core subjects. I enjoy volunteering through my old dance school as well as volunteering through my actual school, as I am part of student office. On your team, I'll bring my attitude to strive for nothing but a better version of myself.
