Through my training so far in high school, I have uncovered so much strength about myself. Cross country has challenged me in a way I never expected, Mentally it was hard to get into the distance of cross country, three miles. Since I was younger track has been my passion and I was always pretty good but cross country, that was hard. I wasn't naturally good at running long distances. I adapted and worked hard, I worked hard and achieved my goals. Running distance was challenging but taught me how to fight through the pain and that's what made me stronger mentally in track.
Looking into my future I would love to continue running track in college if that is a possibility. As for majors, I'm thinking nursing however I am not set on anything. I would like to help people in the future and I am unsure in what way. I am looking forward to continuing my journey in college wherever that may be.
