I've always wanted to do track. Ever since elementary school, I wanted to become a track athlete because we read a lot about Usain Bolt. But, my dream was sort of oppressed because, during summer camp, I injured my knee. I injured my epiphyseal plate in my left knee, causing me to be on crutches for almost 4 months. It really devastated me, because I knew for sure I was going to have complications later in life because of the injury. In the 6th grade, I began training running with one of my teachers and he gave me the confidence to begin running again. Later in 8th grade, I joined a non-profit organization by the name of Girls on the Run. I ran a 5k. It inspired me much more to continue running.
I believe I would be a suitable candidate because I am very driven towards my primary goal. I am willing to put forth the effort to meet specific targets to strengthen my performance as an athlete.
I'm not going to lie to you, I am not 100% sure I am that distinct from other recruits. Even though everyone is their own person, there are going to be many things that make us all alike. Everybody has similar and different characteristics that make them eligible for certain positions in the world. So, as I said before, I'm not 100% sure but I am willing to do any and everything to become a more pleasing person athletically.
