Personal Statement

I've been a dedicated student and athlete my whole life, starting as a competitive gymnast and swimmer when I was five years old.  It was in middle school when my focus and passion became track and field.  My goals and aspirations from that point centered around track and field, with ultimately competing at the collegiate level.  Six out of seven days of the week, you'll find me working out and training for this sport I love, not because I have to, but because I want to be my very best.  I’m a very coachable athlete who learns quickly, works hard, perseveres and strives to always be a great teammate.  I care deeply for others and want to help them be their best; therefore, I lead well, in the classroom and on the track.

My goals and aspirations in college are to find a profession I'm passionate about, meet lifelong friends, be a strong member of the track and field team, and ultimately compete at Nationals.  I'm very dedicated, motivated, and work hard every day to do my absolute best and pour my whole heart into whatever task is in front of me, whether it's at home, in the classroom, on the track, lifeguarding at the community pool, dog/house sitting, and even when I'm hanging out with my family and friends.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
