For nine years I was a competitive dancer until 2021, when I discovered I could jump. From that moment, I made a 180 degree life change and completely committed to track. I had a break-out first year competing in the high jump, winning both Indoor and Outdoor 3A State Championship titles and remained undefeated all year. This success solidified my desire to continue this journey in college. I love the grind, am the hardest worker in the room and am very eager to learn and get better. "Coachable" is my middle name.
My time on the track is similar to that in the classroom. I am determined to do well and always give 110%. I maintain a high GPA and challenge myself with AP Classes and am Dual Enrolled at Carteret Community College.
It is important to me to serve others and give back. I am active in my church Youth Group, Young Life, Student Government, Health Science Academy, Academic Leadership Academy and National Charity League.
Ultimately, I am looking for a college program that focuses on both growing great athletes as well as amazing young people. Academics, character, and a healthy, team-first philosophy are important to me when looking at different programs.
