Brooke Bentley '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Brooke Bentley and I am a student at Chatham Kent Secondary school. I started throwing in spring of 2022 and instantly loved it. I was playing high level Softball at the time and just joined my high school track and field team for something to keep me busy, but little did I know how much I would love it. My favourite part of the sport is the continuous improvement and learning because I am always trying to be better than I was the last meet.  I love to push myself out of my comfort zone and do what ever it takes to become a better athlete and person. I have been very successful on my High-school track and field team, I have won countless meets in shot put, and a couple meets in discus and have received many awards for those achievements. Track has taught me so much about myself and has overall made me a better person. I am driven, motivated, resilient and competitive which I feel really shows during competitions and practice. I know I have only been throwing for a couple years but I think that my love for the sport can take me to the next level.
