Personal Statement
I have enjoyed success as a multi-sport athlete, however my passion for track has been developed over the past seven years. As a track athlete I have experienced success at the Provincial Ontario Championships by medalling once in my freshman year and three times in my sophomore year. These accomplishments have taught me the value of teamwork and individual perseverance in a high stress environment. I strive to encourage my teammates as I know the importance of having people believe in you.
Throughout my commitment to my athletic development I have been able to maintain and achieve academic excellence. My academic goals for the remainder of highschool are to continue to maintain my 4.0 GPA.
I am now at a point in my life where I aspire to run at the collegiate level. Post secondary, I would like to further my education in a professional field while continuing my track career. I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me athletically and academically.
