I am excited to announce that I will be attending the University of Toronto, Canada! I would like to thank everyone who reached out to me during my recruiting! I look forward to seeing everyone at the track!
I am a self motivated and team oriented student athlete. I want to be the best runner and student that I can be and I always work hard to achieve my goals, but I never sacrifice the team for myself. I have been recognized for these attributes at school as well as in my club and I would bring this attitude to your school. I think that these attributes make me a good candidate for your school because I am a team player that looks to lift the spirits of the other athletes and this helps me to raise my level of competitiveness. I like to be looked at as a role model for doing all of the right things at school and in running and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize my goals or how others view me. I am always trying to improve and I am very coachable. I have grown up with two parents who are teachers and I demonstrate many of these teaching skills and enjoy helping others academically and athletically. I think that I bring a fairly unique and valuable skill set that would make me an asset to any team.
