Since I was 7 years old I have played competitive hockey and soccer. I discovered my love for track and field (throwing) when I started high school at Sandwich Secondary in Lasalle, Ontario. Soon afterwards I joined the University of Windsor Athletic Club and have been throwing discus, hammer, shot put and weight ever since.
I have remained an honour student while training 4-5 days a week. I continue to play hockey as well, both for my high school girls team and travel for the BB Southpoint Stars. I also played junior girls basketball the past 2 seasons.
My goal is to become a physical education teacher and someday coach student athletes.
My coaches and peers describe me as a very dedicated, determined and hard working teammate. This past school year I was a finalist for Junior Female Athlete of the Year and Most Dedicated Female Athlete.
