Hi, I'm Temi Banwo, and I'm currently a junior at Allen High School. I will soon graduate in the spring of 2022 and hopefully go to a school where I can continue to play the sport I love. I've been throwing shot-put and discus since 7th grade and only took a short break my freshman year in high school due to a knee injury while playing basketball. I have since recovered after a lot of physical therapy and the support of my family and teammates. Since returning to track & field my sophomore year of high school, I have gained another level of appreciation and admiration for the sport I play and am so grateful for the opportunity.
I strive to do my best in every aspect of my life, from athletics to academics. I plan to carry this attitude through college and for the rest of my life. I hope to one day become a children's psychologist once graduating from college. While pursuing higher education, I hope to bring my optimistic attitude to an amazing college's track and field team. I will do my best to add as much as possible to the amazing women's track program I will one day join.
