Track is one of the most important things in my life. Over the past few years I have learned how to balance two sports along with school. I love every minute I spend on the track. When track season ends, I look forward to it starting again. The desire to win pushes me to train and compete to the best of my abilities. I love the sport with an undying passion. Along with my love for track I have a love for school, particularly writing and technology. My love for writing goes as far back as the love I have for volleyball. My enjoyment for technology recently surfaced when I took a digital media class and I fell in love with programming and the use of Adobe products like Photoshop. Writing and these computer skills go well together, because those skills have helped me thrive in classes such as yearbook and journalism. I intend to be a double major in college and get a journalism degree along with a computer science degree. School is the most important thing to me. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I am taking AP and Pre-AP Classes. I am freshman class president as well as an active member of both student council and yearbook staff. Along with all my academic accomplishments, I have excelled in track for the past six years and it is my second love behind volleyball. I always make it a point to have my work completed before I go to practice. Being a student, dual athlete has taught me time management and discipline.
