Personal Statement

I have shown livestock for the past seven years, and it is something that I greatly enjoy, so much, that I want to continue in the agricultural field and turn it into my career. I have a passion for the industry, and it is something that I want to continue to have for a long time to come. I play volleyball during the "off-season" of track, and it has helped me with strength training, and every day I am getting stronger. This last year, I advanced to the state meet in track in the shot put event, where I placed fourth with a personal best of 37ft0in. This next year I am hoping to go to the state meet once again, and do better than I did last year.
