Kendra Marklund '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always been quite the competitive athlete in many different sports. I’ve had coaches and parents tell me lots how impressed they are by my dedication and how hard I push myself when I want to perfect a skill. I am determined to play volleyball in university as I have gained such a strong passion for the sport. I also believe it is such a great opportunity to meet new people and be part of a hard working team. All throughout high school I have worked amazingly with other, whether it be on a sports team or on a school project in class. I think what makes me most unique from many players on a court is that I am a strong left handed hitter but I also can swing with my right hand quite well to mix it up and make the plays different. I hope to be a teacher in my future as i work great with kids and love school as well.
