Ever since I touched a volleyball I knew that if I wanted to be serious about this sport I needed to be hardworking and passionate about the game. I have to work hard until I master whatever it is I am trying to learn and that stepping out of my comfort zone is the only way I can reach my true capabilities. Stepping out of my comfort zone, is the only way I am going to grow as not only a volleyball player, but also a leader on the court.
In my volleyball career I’ve also learned that you need to be self-driven and passionate about the game of volleyball. That self-drive separates me from everyone else because I am the person telling myself that I need to get better and that I need to take the time and make the effort to do so. I’ve also learned to not shy away from adversity, but to think of it as another aspect and challenge in life that I have to overcome. Last but not least, my goal is to major in sports medicine and eventually pursue a medical degree as an orthopedic physician so that I can help people. I am looking for a school that will and look for a school that support my academic and volleyball goals.
