Kaitlyn Ybarra '21 Recruiting Profile

 I'm a 2021 middle blocker and right side and have been playing for seven years. I have played for multiple clubs allowing me to be exposed to a variety of different coaching styles. I love this game and it will always be a part of my life no matter where I end up. Volleyball has taught me so much about  what it means to be a leader and to share your voice. This game is so much more than tournaments, it's about bringing people together who love the game just as much as you do. It's about work ethic and giving it everything you have, discovering your limits and pushing past them to better yourself. It's about being there for your team no matter what, because they become your second family. It's about the love of the game. 

For college I'm planning to study exercise science or kinesiology. My goal is to earn a masters in athletic training or get a doctorate in physical therapy. I currently have a 4.08 GPA and have already started college courses. My academics are extremely important to me and I plan to continue my academic success into my college career.
