Elaina Bosshardt '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elaina Bosshardt and I am a setter in the Class of 2020.  I was a full-time starter my sophomore and junior seasons on my high school varsity team.  I achieved all-league honors this past season.  We play a 5-1, and I utilize all of my hitters in our attack.  I am a leader on my team and I have a high court IQ.  As a setter, I focus on being consistent, calm under pressure, supportive and encouraging, and a selfless team player.  I  believe in hard work and preparation, and I am committed to improving and reaching my goals.  At the club level, I have competed at the highest competitive level in California. This season, I will be playing for 805 Elite Volleyball Club, based in San Luis Obispo, CA.

 My goal for college is to attend a highly ranked academic school with a strong volleyball program .  I want to attend a college with top ranked programs in the sciences.  Possible areas of study include astrophysics,  astronomy, and aeronautical engineering. I have maintained a straight A average in high school, and I continue to improve on the volleyball court. I know that it will take hard work and dedication to reach my goals.  I am considering schools from all areas of the country.
