My volleyball story is slightly different than a lot of my teammate's stories. I didn't decide to pursue volleyball until I was in 8th grade. I played on my middle school team and progressed to a recreational league to see if this was something I was truly interested in. I fell in love with playing volleyball but I also realized I was years behind other girls my age. I was determined to catch up to the level of play that other girls my age were playing at, and even make a club team. So I began to book private lessons and I had the drive, determination, and grit to crush this goal. I continue to grow as a player mentally and physically and whenever possible I book private lessons to push myself to the next level. I know with certainty that I am not finished growing as a player.
Academically I am a 4.0 Honors Student/AP Student. I am looking forward to pursuing a degree in business.
