Jessica Eldridge '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Jessica Eldridge. Volleyball is a huge passion of mine. Since I first started playing, I have always dreamed about playing in college. I love the thrill of the game, the competitiveness, friendships, and traveling to play other teams. In my first year of club, I started as a middle and, though I learned a lot, I realized my love for the back row as a defensive player. I am now training as a Libero/DS. My teammates can count on me to give my all and to encourage them throughout the game. I have been mentored by many good coaches who have helped me succeed in my position and as a team player. Arete offers mental training courses that have helped my game tremendously. I believe that mental health is huge in all sports including volleyball and being able to focus on that has helped me become who I am today and a better player overall. I also go to a speed and strength program which I go to twice a week. I have been doing this for almost 3 years. My goal is to find a school where I can excel in my studies of business, marketing, and graphic design and pursue my love for volleyball.
