Madison Truong '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madie, and this will be my 6th year of club as a setter. Two years ago I took private lessons and experienced a higher level of volleyball. I realized I was not going to get the caliber of volleyball I needed in my hometown, so I moved to Denver and live with my aunt. Over the summer before my sophomore year, I went to Denver's club tryouts and got offers from four different club teams. I played at Elevation's 16 one's team my first year, and I now play at Five Star's 17 one's team. During the school season, I was moved up to the varsity team for their regional tournament, and have been playing with ThunderRidge varisity since.

I have a great passion for the game, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve my goals. I love to be competitive, and will positively push my teammates with determination and perseverance.  I am very coachable and loved to be pushed to become better.
