I started playing volleyball in second grade on my friend's fourth grade rec team. I was too young to play in the games, but I went to the practices. I wasn't able to continue playing until seventh grade due to my dad's work schedule. In middle school I was on the track team 6th and 7th grade and did volleyball in 7th and 8th grade. I did many sports when I was younger, however none of them really stuck with me except for volleyball. Since 7th grade, I have been given many opportunities that have really helped me grow and improve as a player. I was on varsity as a freshman and played in the semifinals and finals of the 4A state championships, and my sophomore year was named all conference first team, and all-state honorable mention. For club I play for Norco Juniors in Windsor, Colorado. For High school, I go to Niwot, and will graduate in 2022. I have a grade point average between freshman and sophomore year of 4.3. My sophomore year, I was one of the varsity captains, and was on the first All Conference team, and an honorable mention for 4A All-State.
For college, I would like to play Division I, but am keeping my options open. I am unsure of what I want to major in, however I am interested in psychology, environmental sciences, and athletic sciences.
For Athletic Awards, I was recently nominated for the 2020 AVCA Phenom Program. Also, despite all USAV events being cancelled, I was placed on the USAV High Performance A2 Program for 2020. I also was on the 2020 Soph 79 High Honorable Mention List, as well as the Prep Volleyball Class of 2022 Watch List for Middle Blockers. My sophomore year (2019), I was named All Conference first team, and All State honorable mention for High School. The Niwot varsity team made it to Colorado 4A State Volleyball Tournament in 2018 (my freshman year). I started in the Semi Finals and Finals and we ended up State Runner Up after losing to Lewis-Palmer (top 25 nationally ranked team). I have lettered both freshman and sophomore year. In 2018, I also earned a spot on the 2018 USAV High Performance Girls' Select Skills Program at the University of California in California, Pennsylvania.
