Sports have always been an important part of my life. I competed in USTA tennis tournaments for several years, but once I started playing volleyball I knew it was the sport I wanted to actively pursue. I have played volleyball for A5 Volleyball Club, one of the top ranked club's in the country, for 4 years. The program at my high school is growing and is being developed under a new coach. We compete against other 6A schools in Area 5. My primary position is outside hitter and DS is my secondary position. My skills are beneficial anywhere on the court.
My collegiate goals are to study business, sports management or physical therapy and to play volleyball at a highly competitive level. As an individual, I am well rounded. I believe it is essential to be involved in the community. In my spare time, I volunteer for Hemophilia of Georgia and The Humane Society. In high school, I am an active member of Leadership 56, Alpha, FCA and Honor's Society. I have been Student of the Month and a member of Homecoming Court my Sophomore and Junior year. I feel it's important to have a good relationship with my teachers. My grades are a top priority.
As an athlete, I am versatile, athletic, powerful and competitive. On the court, I am motivating and adaptable. I've been a varsity player on my high school team since my freshman year. I was named MVP of my high school team my Sophomore season and named to the All-Area Second Team my Junior year. I was captain of my 2015 Club Team and on AVCA’s 2014 and 2015 Phenom List, and a captain on my club team this season.
I feel that my integrity, leadership ability and work ethic are strengths that set me apart as a top recruit for your volleyball team and your university.
