Laurice Lavajo '19 Recruiting Profile

    As a senior preparing to move onto the next big step in education and life, my goal is to achieve and maintain a balance between academics and athletics. I have been a scholar athlete and the recipient of many Defensive Player awards since eighth grade. I have been playing club volleyball since the 2015 season. My passion and drive apply to both school and volleyball. 

    Biology has always been a field of interest for me. I especially enjoy problem solving and applying concepts to real world situations. I challenge myself by taking AP and honors classes as much as I can. I participate in my school's science club. I am also a senior mentor, as well as a member of the Future Business Leaders of America. In addition to volleyball, I've also been actively involved in band. I pride myself in being able to achieve balance, maintaining a commendable GPA while performing at the highest level as a defensive specialist.

    My goal is to continue to play at a competitive level in a college program that values team success as much as individual development. I am very eager to contribute in any way I can. The lessons I've learned on and off the court have definitely shaped the person that I am today and I'm ready for the next challenge.
