Katelynn Manning '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I’m Kate Manning, a Junior at Highland Park High school in Highland Park,IL.

I’ve been playing volleyball for 5 years now. I have trained with serval volleyball clubs in Texas as well as Atlanta,Georgia . I am a all around starting player on my school Varsity team as a setter and a right side. 

My current position is a setter/right side hitter, but I am very aware that with my height I might need to transition to a libero, and I am fully open to it. I have had plenty of defense training along with the advantage of being a back row setter. 

Of my strengths I am most proud of my, competitiveness, coach-ability, communication and passion for the game. I am a natural born leader, I love lifting up others and bringing people together on and off the court. I am a strong believer of giving every point your all and never giving up or getting down on yourself no matter the circumstances. 

I am already looking forward to college, many schools are appealing to me. I am looking for a school that is a good fit for both academics and athletics. I am looking for coach that pushes me to be the best version of myself and one that can help me grow and reach new goals each season. 

I am beyond excited for my future in college. From earning a degree to learning life lessons. I expect college to be a life changing experience. I cannot wait to advance my education on and off the court.
