Jack Sakanich '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a volleyball player is to compete at a high level, represent my program,  and be part of a team. For me a team is invaluable and the experience it provides to me personally is unmatched. I would like volleyball to enhance my experience in college and provide a solid base for any future aspirations I may have. Through volleyball I have learned and will continue to learn to be a leader, be part of a team, work with others, and take direction. All these skills are the backbone for success during and after college. 

I am still learning and growing as a player and student, but what I bring to the table is dedication, enthusiasm, outstanding athleticism, coachability, being a excellent teammate, and a raw passion for the sport. I have struggled academically but through my struggle I have learned how to be a better student and overcome many difficulties. The challenges I have faced have taught me to never give up and that practice and hard work are essential to success.
