Chloe Saxe SPVB 1...Personal Statement
My name is Chloe Saxe and I am a Setter for the Class of 2024. I am a Setter/ DS Libero for SPVB. I have played volleyball at Sports Performance Volleyball Club for the past 12 years and I love it more and more each year. When I step foot into the gym, I am not focusing on just improving myself but also my team.
I have been trained in every position and I am considered a very versatile player that can play wherever needed. My high school team (Yorkville Christian Mustangs) finished the season 28-5. I was recently named player of the week and named player of the week and was featured in the Beacon News. I received All-Tournament at both the Somonauk Breakout and Plano Invite as a 6-rotation Setter/OH.
I am a hard-working, dedicated player and I am always ready to play, even when our team may be down by a lot, I am there to pick everyone up and play like the team we are. When I don't have practice or games, I do CrossFit to keep myself in shape and conditioned for long, fast-pace games. I push myself as hard as I can so that I can be a valued teammate competing at the next level.
