Megan Cassaday '23 Recruiting Profile

I have played volleyball since I was 8 yrs. old.  I am blessed to have been able to learn and play with my older sister and brother.  I also played softball for several years and enjoyed it.  I have had the opportunity to play club at the early age of 10 on a 12yr. old team.  I was hooked from there.  I have had some wonderful coaches who have seen my potential and helped me with private lessons and extra team practices.  I have practiced with Brandon Greenway, Jaylen Jasper and Peter Russell during my club time, three fantastic players/teachers.  I have attended several camps, clinics and showcases in my 7 years of playing. My determination to win sets me apart from the competition both on and off the court. Despite my shorter stature, I prove I am a key part of any team that I play for.  My strengths include a quick reaction time and ability to read the game .   My goal is to find a university that not only will I be able to get a degree but also be able to play volleyball.
