I am a Senior in high school and have had been playing volleyball on our school team and the Unity club team for around three years now. Out of the many sports I have already played, I have never felt a spark similar to what I feel when playing volleyball. I am truly passionate about playing and love the feeling of when I am on the court. Now that I have discovered my passion for volleyball, I aim to play at a collegiate level if I were to get the opportunity. I work hard on and off the court, and always give everything my best shot; along with cooperating well with others and being open to receiving criticism or advice that would help me become a better player and teammate.
As for my academics, I am currently in three honors classes and four AP courses, and maintain good grades throughout the year. I am also the president of the HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America) club at my school. During my freshman year and first year as HOSA president, I received 1st place for Researched Writing and Persuasive Speaking at Worcester State University for a HOSA state leadership conference. I hope to pursue a career as a Neuropsychologist, which I am also very passionate about.
If I were to get the opportunity, I would be truly grateful to attend a college with both the opportunity of playing volleyball and pursuing a health career.
