I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade. In middle school I learned to love the game and chose to stop playing AAU basketball and switch my focus to volleyball. Once I started playing at the club level I knew I wanted to play in college and compete at that level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
My volleyball IQ is strong and understand where I need to be in order to deliver a kill or cover behind the block. My jump and top spin serves are strong and consistent. Whether on the sidelines or on the court I am always encouraging my teammates as well as providing assistance and help where needed. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players. Throughout my club and HS career I have shown my versatility as have been placed as a MB, Opposite Hitter or Setter when needed to help the team.
Doing well in school is important and I work hard at my studies. Besides volleyball, I babysit children in my neighborhood, work at an ice cream store and have run clinics for basketball and volleyball for younger children
I am looking into pursuing Sports Management.
