I was introduced to volleyball as a freshman in the fall of 2017 at the age of 14, and instantly fell in love with the sport. Initially, I competed on Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall's junior varsity team as their libero and earned a starting position on varsity entering my sophomore year. My teachers, coaches and teammates would describe me as a persistent and dedicated student-athlete who is committed to enhancing my skills so that I improve after each practice and every game. My physical and mental resilience has been my enduring attribute in defining my identity as a student-athlete. During the Fall of 2018, I played an influential role in leading Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall to its second straight IGC Division Championship. Relying on team virtues such as communication, perseverance and hard work, I have always believed that "what you give is what you get" in this case especially in volleyball. This why I put in my all every practice and game.
Volleyball has really taught me how to achieve my short and long term goals by giving it my all. I want to bring volleyball as far as I possibly can. For my long term goals, I want to find a college that will help me exceed in athletics as well as in the classroom. I take full advantage of every opportunity I get to become a better player. Thank you for viewing my profile.
