I've been extremely interested in playing college sports since I was in grade school. Nothing makes me happier. I have a very driven personality, and athletics is a very big deal for me. I couldn't imagine life without sports! It is my goal to continue to work hard at both sports and academics. I have played Opposite since my freshman year of varsity volleyball. I've excelled at shutting down the outside hitter of the opposing team by putting a block up. I can hit cross court, and can cut the ball alongside the net and hit line. I feel I am very flexible on playing different positions, as well, to include setter and defensive specialist. My ability to communicate effectively helps me to visualize the court to know what to expect on a given play. I pride myself on being a team player, who excels at encouraging teammates to keep pushing to do their best. I thrive on good sportsmanship and competition, which I believe sets me apart in a very positive way. Going forward, I feel my strong work ethic makes me a good candidate at the collegiate level both on the court and in the classroom. I am an honest, patient and respectful individual, which are key traits to having a good working relationship with fellow players, coaches and teachers. The chance to prove myself would be a dream come true, as I really believe I have what it takes for everyone involved to succeed!
