As a six sport athlete, I make sure to take care of myself and try to keep my schoolwork up. In the year of 2023, I am an eighth grader that made it on the varsity high school wrestling team. I am one of the first eight graders and the first eighth grade girl to compete in wrestling at the varsity level. For our girls season this year, we were divisional champions for western b/c. Our entire girls team of six each qualified for state. I love being in the gym with positive people and I work hard in the classroom. I have been in the advance/honors math class since the fifth grade. I usually have a pretty tight schedule but I manage to get everything in. To me, wrestling is my life. I have wrestled ever since I was around three or four. At one point, I was an aau champ in the girls and boys division. I am willing to work hard and to do what it takes to pursue this sport and keep going. I may only be an eighth grader but that does not stop me from achieving my goals.
