Hello Coaches, My name is Libby Militello. I'm a 4'11" Libero in the class of 2025 and I attend Forestville Central school. My heart for being part of a volleyball team more than makes up for my lack of height. I began playing as a freshman, wishing that I started sooner. I worked twice as hard to catch up and earned a position on the Junior Varsity team and by the second half of the season, I was a starter. I began playing club volleyball as a sophomore starting player, one year above my age division.
Before volleyball, I played soccer for eight years but since its season competes, one hundred percent of my focus shifted to volleyball. For exercise and conditioning, I also played on my school's JV basketball team, and plan on joining my school's new flag football team in the spring and sideline cheerleading in the fall of 2023.
As a student athlete, I am certain to put in as much hard work and effort in the classroom as I do on the court. I look forward to learning the different lessons volleyball will continue to teach me and anticipate “upping my game” athletically and academically; now and in college.
