Deanne Wilson '21 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of volleyball. My ultimate goal is to play at a competitive college level. I am a dynamic player with an intense passion for the game, a strong commitment to my team, and a high energy I bring every time I step foot on the court. My positions are outside hitter and defensive specialist. I am beginning my seventh year of club volleyball, and just finished my fifth year of Varsity level volleyball at my high-school. I have played on the top travel team for my age group at Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club (NFVB) in Buffalo, NY for six years, and my team has played at the Girls Junior National Championships (GJNC) the last six years. I have learned that the mental aspect of the game is a huge part of the sport. Keeping all teammates in positive spirits is very important, especially after a bad play. My speed, ability to read the ball, and aggressiveness on the court are assets that will make an immediate impact on a team. I am interested in different colleges. My main focus is finding a college with the right combination of education and volleyball in order to help me grow and succeed.
