I am currently living in a city called Astoria in New York. I live in an apartment building with my mom, sister, and brother. Growing up I've never really found myself interested in much. Whenever I had time, I would either go outside or be reading books. For most of the weekends my brother and I would go visit our father and other family in Connecticut. One summer the Olympics were going on and my mom had me watch it with her. I remember watching them play and was so fascinated with the sport, and was so intrigued of volleyball that I wanted to try it out.
Entering the 7th grade I had mdecided to tryout for the team, I was anxious yet so eager at the same time. When the tryout process was over I found out I made the team! from that moment on volleyball because my passion. Going into high school I was so enthusiastic to join the volleyball team, during my freshman year I tried out and I made the varsity team. Playing on varsity made me realize how much more competitive volleyball is going to become. Knowing g is makes me have an even deeper passion for the sport, and enjoy playing it even more. I love when the games are extremely competitive it makes me love playing and involving myself more. I'm a strong, dedicated, coachable, supportive, team player. I want nothing more than to go to an outstanding college and better myself athletically and academically. My dream is to graduate from college and make it to the Olympics one day, and make my family and I proud.
