Since I was little, I have always been involved in sports. It has taken me a couple of years to find that volleyball is my sport. There is no better feeling than stepping onto the court and forgetting everything that's happening in your life. It all disappears and the only thing that matters is playing your heart out. I crave that feeling every day. Although my volleyball journey has not been easy, it has taught me many things. It has taught me teamwork, dedication, effort, and perseverance. When I set my mind to something, I get it done. In a team, I am looking for a family. Of course, winning is a priority. However, I believe that the connection you build with your team and the road to winning is more important. Being a part of a team always motivates me to do better. Athletically and academically I am always pushing myself. In the gym, I push myself to lift heavier, run faster and jump higher. Academically I challenge myself by taking a rigorous course load. I am always trying to make progress on the court and in the classroom.
