Gabriella Wright ...Personal Statement
Volleyball, to me, is more than just a game. Volleyball has provided me with a family of people who I will have friendships with forever. It’s given me the opportunity to overcome many mental barriers that I never thought I would be able to before. It’s allowed me to release any anxiety or stress I was feeling and turn it into a passion for the game and for the people who have played with me and taught me over the years.
It would truly be a dream to continue my athletic career as a volleyball player in college while also balancing challenging and rigorous academics with it. It doesn’t matter the division, or conference, or status of it all; as long as I am playing the game I love with a group of girls I can form an ever-lasting bond with, I’m more than content.
