The first priority I have in college is to maintain good grades and focus on academics before anything else. I know if grades are not up to par, you won't get the opportunity to play a sport, at any level. I believe I am a good candidate because I look at my team as a family and always put my team before myself, I'm very coachable and am very flexible with any position. I'm always wanting to learn something new and will work for it until I have that new skill is perfect. I am a two year Varsity volleyball captain and understand the responsibilities that come with it. I'm seen as a leader inside and outside of the classroom and plan to carry that to college with me. Athletes in my opinion are not only made on the court, but inside the classroom and the off-season as well.
