My name is Brooke and I have been playing volleyball for three years. I started off playing at a YMCA recreational league, but quickly moved on to a more competitive club team. Since I started playing, volleyball has made me not only more confident as an athlete, but also more confident as a person. Volleyball allowed me to become more competitive and taught me how to strive to be the best that I can be in all aspects of my life. Part of the reason why I love the sport so much is because I know that there will always be someone who can challenge me which makes me want to work even harder. I also love playing with my teammates who I know will always push me past my limits on the court and expect me to do the same for them. On all of the teams I have been on, I have been the crazy, over the top, and energetic person that my teammates and coaches can lean on to get everyone excited and in the game. My main position is a defensive specialist and libero, but I have also played as a middle, outside, and right side. I plan to study sports medicine or sports marketing in college because I always want to be involved with sports and athletes who compete at a high level
