Personal Statement

My name is Ashlynn Stephens, and I am a Outside Hitter and Middle Hitter for the Thunder Cats Junior Volleyball team.  I also currently play volleyball for Highland School of Technology in Gastonia, N.C. where I led the conference in blocks for the 2018-2019 season.  I have played volleyball for five years.

I am a universal, all-around volleyball player having the ability to play full court and all positions.  In 2017, I was honored to lead my middle school volleyball team to its first championship match in school's history.  For the 2018-2019 season as a high school freshman at Highland School ofTechnolgy, I was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player.

My goal is to advance my athleticism to the collegiate level.  As a college athlete I plan to motivate myself and my teammates to achieve academic,  athletic and personal success.  As a full-time student athlete, I look forward to my continued growth as a future leader, building on my current foundation of positivity, confidence, focus and inspiration that pushes me to achieve goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
