My name is Kaela Bryson. I have played volleyball for 8 years including both club for Gaston Galaxy and varsity volleyball for Piedmont Community Charter School. I have been recognized as a leader on the court by all of my coaches which has led to me being the captain for the past three years. Along with indoor volleyball, I have played in a number of beach volleyball tournaments. Volleyball has taught me many life lessons as well as character traits. I fell in love with the sport at a young age and my passion for it continues to grow more every day. In school, I am a part of the National Honors Society as well as the Student Council where I hold the position of Vice President. I participate in many volunteer activities through these clubs. For college, I am looking for a school that excels in both academics and athletics. I will graduate high school with an Associates in Arts degree from Gaston College. My next step for college is to major in Nursing, with a goal of eventually going to doctorate school to be a Physician Assistant.
